We had a really cool wine festival downtown. We all got drunk. Just kidding. Actually, I think many people did, but we didn't personally. Not this time. Just kidding (again). ANYHOW, they blocked off downtown and had blocks of booths-jewelry, kids accessories, food, really random crafts, etc. It was really fun to walk around and since we live really close to downtown, it was especially enjoyable this year. Anyhow, there was a booth with bows for little girls. They were super cute, but they were like $12 for ONE bow. Seriously? I can get a couple of tank tops at old navy for my grownup self for that kind of money! So, I went home, found this flower that Ang had given me on a gift probably back when I got married and I thought it was cute and have used it over the years, popped off the flower and hot glued it to a clip I had. Take that $12 bow shop!! (and thanks, Ang, for the lovely new hair accessory).
You can see Bek is quite excited about it. :)

She came out with my boots one day. It was pretty funny watching her try to put them on. THey have zippers, and that is one thing Bekah is obsessed with these days. She puts on her sweatshirt and says "zip-t", with the p and t quite distinct. She likes everything zipped.
A couple other things about Bek that have been cracking us up...
She wants to give "ug"'s (hugs) all the time. The best part is that she gives them freely to family and to complete strangers. Anyone in between is out of luck. She will seriously try to hug the homeless people on the streets. She frightens other small children with her affection. It's pretty cute when she throws open her arms, puts her chin down to the left and says with a very serious face "ugg!". The other day she ran accross the house yelling "ugg!" to give Curtis a hug in his office. With my Mom a few weeks ago she wanted to hug her poop...oh, my. Let's not go there, Bek.
Love this child!!!
